Who We Are and Mission
We are a Senior Advocacy Group for Those Over 65 on Original Medicare.
Individuals insured through Employer Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans (Not Original Medicare) have access to fitness benefits sponsored by their insurance plans. This benefit is usually administered by either Silver & Fit or Silver Sneakers.
Those on Original Medicare have little to no access to Fitness Benefits as most Medicare Supplement Carriers do not offer such benefits.
Grey & Golden was created in 2016 to address that shortcoming.
The ultimate goal is to provide a benefit program that encourages seniors to improve and maintain their fitness level in order to keep active and energetic longer and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Member Benefits
We offer a program for low-cost Fitness facility access to encourage our members to maintain their current health and improve their longevity.
We also offer members free discounts on hotels, restaurants, recreation and the like.
We are always looking to add discounts and benefits programs as requested by our members.
We have partnered with Insurance Agents who are Endorsed by Grey and Golden to provide Good Old Fashioned Service in helping to address Concerns with Medicare Supplement Insurance and Prescription Drug Plans. These endorsed agents will watch rates for you and help to alert you when there may be significant savings to change carriers without sacrificing your benefits. One of these agents is assigned to every member and will be in contact to keep our members informed about savings opportunities. Members are encouraged but not required to work with these endorsed agents.
+ Fitness Program
For an additional fee - our members enjoy access to a number of participating facilities where they can use Partner Facilities as a basic member with no additional cost to the member.
Some facilities have restricted hours to help manage their business during off peak times.
Benefits include use of facilities and participation in group classes.
If a Grey and Golden member wishes to use specialized training such a personalized training - our partner facilities are allowed to charge the member directly for those personalized services.
We are always looking to add Partner facilities as requested by our members.
